Poroutawhao Support Group

All parents/caregivers of students are welcome to attend.

The Poroutawhao Support Group (PSG.) is a committee of parents who are actively involved in supporting the school in a variety of ways.

The PSG exist to...
  • Support families within the school.
  • Help strengthen connections between families and the school.
  • Support and organise social functions within our community.
  • Raise funds for special projects in and around the school.
  • Support the local community and raise the profile of our school within it.
Last year the PSG was very successful raising funds for the school to support the replacement of the school hard court.
The PSG is presently focused on social activities and strengthening relationships within the school, along with supporting the creation of our 'Community Cafe' indoor space.

We thank the PSG for their efforts to date and look forward to assisting them as they support us in 2017.

The PSG meets most months in the school staff room. All parents are encouraged to attend or offer support to the wide range of activities throughout the year.  Our calendar lists the dates for upcoming PSG meetings and other key events.
